Water Magic is a picture-book app designed for toddlers and preschoolers. It is built so that it does not need to know anything about your child or your family.

The short version

• The app collects no personal data. We do not receive your paintings, play history or preferences.
• There are no accounts, sign-ins, advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party SDKs.
• The app works offline and contains no links to websites or social media reachable by a child.

What stays on the device

The app stores preferences (including sound, painting assistance and an optional play-time limit), shelf position, completed-page identifiers and purchase approval status on the device. It also saves the latest painting for each page, including revealed objects, story progress and a small cover image, so a child can return to it. Painting files are excluded from device backup. We do not upload this information or provide accounts or cloud sync. Replaying a page clears only that page’s painting. Opening another page does not erase the previous painting. Deleting the app removes its local records.

Painting postcards

A grown-up can request a postcard of a painting. The latest postcard stays locally on the device and is excluded from backup. It is exported only when a grown-up chooses Save or share and selects a system service. Saving to Photos requires permission to add the image; Water Magic does not read the photo library. A selected sharing service handles the exported image under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive it.

Purchases

Books are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment under its own privacy policy; we never receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information. The app only learns from Apple which books are owned, so it can open them. Purchases and restore are behind a grown-up check.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR). Because the app collects nothing, there is no child data to review, correct or delete.
